Inter winger Ivan Perisic has already told the club that he does not expect to extend his current contract with the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Croatian’s contract with the Nerazzurri will expire in June 2022 and he has already told the club he is happy to let it expire and move on to a new club.

It is no secret that Inter were open to letting Ivan Perisic leave the club in the summer if a replacement could be found, as he is one of the higher earners within the squad.

The decision now appears to have been taken out of their hands. The player has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League but a return to the Bundesliga is also not being ruled out.

Ivan Perisic has had a very good season for Inter so far.
