Inter forward Joaquin Correa has an impressive scoring record of more than a goal every other game against AC Milan, and could look to continue this when the Nerazzurri face the Rossoneri in the derby tomorrow.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who note the significance of the Argentine’s five goals in nine matches against the Rossoneri with Lazio as he prepares for his first Milan derby in an Inter shirt.

Correa scored a 94th minute equalizer in a meeting between the two sides in November of 2018 which finished 1-1, an important goal for the Biancocelesti and his first against Milan.

Then in the following season, the Argentine scored the only goal in a two-legged Coppa Italia semi-final between the Biancocelesti and the Rossoneri, a vital goal towards his team’s triumph in the final of the competition.

In November of 2019 Correa scored a late winner to complete a 2-1 win over Milan at the San Siro, the Biancocelesti’s first away win over the Rossoneri in thirty years.

Last season as well, Correa showed his goalscoring form against Milan, bagging a brace to put the emphasis on a 3-0 win in the two sides’ second meeting of the season.

Correa could feature for the Nerazzurri either from the start or from the bench tomorrow, and they will hope that they see the kind of goalscoring form against tomorrow’s opposition that he displayed when he was in a Lazio shirt.
