Torino captain Andrea Belotti will not leave his current club in the January transfer window, but could be on his way out next summer amid links to Inter.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio who reported on air that the 27-year-old is still some way from finding an agreement on an extension that would keep him at the Granata beyond next summer.

Belotti’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and despite attempts to secure his future by his club, he has not yet committed to an extension.

The Nerazzurri had reportedly been interested in his signature during the summer transfer window before they moved onto other targets, but they still consider him a target.

According to Di Marzio, there is little chance that the striker will depart from the Granata in January but he could be available on a free transfer in the summer when his contract runs out.

“Juric has repeatedly reiterated that Gallo will not move in January,” he stated, “but the future of the 27-year-old could be equally far from Turin. The renewal negotiation (he expires in June), despite the proposal put on the table by the Granata, is struggling to take off and there is no shortage of clubs ready to deal with Cairo.”
