Inter are still pursuing Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne for a summer move, and are ready to offer him a four-year contract to make the switch.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have prepared an offer worth a net of €6 million per season plus a €7 million signing bonus and image rights for the 30-year-old when he is out of contract next summer.

Insigne’s current deal with the Partenopei is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and he still remains far away from his club in negotiations on a renewal.

The Nerazzurri can begin formally negotiating with the winger in January on a summer move, and could look to snap hip up should no progress be made with his current club on his contract situation.

There is also interest in Insigne from MLS, but his preference would reportedly be to stay in Italy, and Inter look to be the Serie A club with the firmest interest in signing him.

Last summer the Nerazzurri made the Partenopei to sign him for €15 million plus Alexis Sanchez and a deal could not be reached, but they are still ready to swoop for him next summer.
