A number of major European clubs are ready to offer Marcelo Brozovic a significant wage increase when his current deal runs out at Inter, with Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Real Madrid among the teams interested in his signature.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that these clubs could be set to offer the Croatian midfielder €7-8 million net per season should he leave the Nerazzurri at the end of the summer.
Inter are currently trying to find an agreement with Brozovic on a new deal, with the 28-year-old’s current contract expiring at the end of June 2022, but an increasing number of clubs are taking an interest in bringing him in as a free agent in the summer.
The amounts offered by these clubs to try and tempt to midfielder away would almost certainly be more than the Nerazzurri would be able to offer him, and could represent a significant obstacle to reaching an agreement on a renewal.
