Inter duo Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal will both start the Chile match against Paraguay this evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Chilean national team boss Martin Lasarte will put faith in two of his most senior players to get the all important three points for La Roja against Uruguay.

Despite not featuring very much for Inter this season, when given minutes, the Chilean pair have both been in good form and helped with the goalscoring efforts of the team.

Chile currently sits sixth in the CONMEBOL qualification group and they are three points away from the top five, who progress to the next stage of qualification.

Paraguay are down in eight but they are just one point behind Martin Lasarte’s side, meaning the match on Thursday night is extremely important.

Alexis Sanchez is expected to start upfront with Arturo Vidal in the midfield.
