Inter are much more likely to see Federico Dimarco sign a new contract with the club than Ivan Perisic, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ivan Perisic will be out of contract with Inter this summer but the club are not in a rush to find a new agreement with the Croatian.

This is because Inter will not be able to offer him the wage that he currently earns for the new contract and they aware that the player is not desperate to extend his time with the Nerazzurri.

If the season goes well for all involved and there are no major offers from elsewhere for the player, an agreement could be found with a lower wage for the 33-year-old.

As for Federico Dimarco, the club are impressed with him this season and want to tie him down to a longer deal than the current one that expires in 2023.

There is a gap though between the player’s demands and Inter’s initial offer, although it is likely to be sorted out calmly.
