Inter could make a move to sign Lazio defender Luiz Felipe in the summer when his contract expires, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Lazio defender was expected to renew his deal with the Biancocelesti in the summer but the agreement was never finalised.

With his current deal expiring in 2022, he is almost in a position to start negotiating with other teams. Simone Inzaghi is keen on the player as they worked together at Lazio whilst he was the coach there.

The Inter boss feels the Brazilian defender could offer good cover for Alessandro Bastoni, Stefan de Vrij, and Milan Skriniar in the Nerazzurri defence without spending money on a transfer fee.

It is thought that the player is keen to join Inter and his old boss, Simone Inzaghi, as well as his close friend Joaquin Correa who made the same move in the summer.
