Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is viewing the current international break as an opportunity to impress Simone Inzaghi and get back into the Inter team, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Stefano Sensi will be part of a small group of players that Simone Inzaghi is working with whilst the majority of the squad are away with their respective international teams.

The ex-Sassuolo player has been absent for the past few weeks with yet another injury, which is also why he is not part of Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad this time around.

The timing may suit the midfielder though as he is coming back to fitness in time to get some special attention from his coach and try to work his way into the starting eleven.

Stefano Sensi can be an opinion for Simone Inzaghi in midfield as well as in the attack.
