Former Lazio and Parma goalkeeper Fernando Orsi has suggested that Lorenzo Insigne is not a good tactical fit for Inter right now, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Radio Radio, via FCInter1908, Fernando Orsi explained that Lorenzo Insigne would be much better suited to teams such as Juventus, AS Roma, and Lazio.

This is because they all play with wide attackers whereas Inter uses wing backs and have their main attackers playing through the middle of the field, like Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko.

“It would be convenient for Juventus in the 4-3-3, but also for Roma and Lazio he could do well. In short, in all teams that play with wingers. Personally, I don’t see him as a second striker at Inter.”

Fernando Orsi did also suggest that the tactical fit of the player does not always matter so much anymore. What is more important to many players is the amount of money they can earn at their new club.

“The players are attracted to money so they can also go to teams where they are tactically less needed but where they earn a lot of money.”

Inter were linked with Lorenzo Insigne heavily at the end of the summer transfer window and are still no being linked with the Napoli forward.
