Inter are going to set a deadline for when Marcelo Brozovic’s representatives must sit down with the club to discuss a new contract for the player, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are growing tired of the requests from the Croatian midfielder’s entourage to postpone arranged meetings where negotiations would have taken place.

The deadline itself is not yet clear but the club clearly feels the situation has reached a point where a harder line must be taken to either make the player commit to Inter or commit to leaving at the end of the season.

Inter are respectful of the fact that the player and his people need time to reflect on previous discussions and offers.

The Nerazzurri have been clear that Marcelo Brozovic’s new contract cannot go beyond a salary of €6 million per season including bonuses. That is the final offer from Inter.
