Inter striker Edin Dzeko underwent individual training today rather than with the rest of his Bosnian teammates, according to a report in the Bosnian media today.

As has been reported in Bosnia by SportSport.ba, the Inter striker had a discussion with the coach, Ivaylo Petev, and it was decided that he should do an individual training program rather than the group session with everyone else.

This is a major blow for the Bosnian coach because his side have a crucial World Cup qualifier against Finland tomorrow and it is looking increasingly likely that his best player will not be able to start the game.

Inter has repeatedly expressed its concern about Edin Dzeko’s playing time whilst on international duty after he limped off the pitch against AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina last Sunday.

He has been the main source of goals for Inter and a serious injury would give Simone Inzaghi a major puzzle to solve.
