It is looking increasingly likely that Inter will be losing Ivan Perisic at the end of this current campaign, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Croatian winger has not even entertained Inter’s initial approaches for a discussion on a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

It seems the player has already decided that he will be moving on when his current contract expires in June 2022.

Whilst he is a very useful player to Inter, they will welcome no longer paying his wage which is one of the higher amounts within the squad.

The feeling is that he wants to return to Germany to end his career, as he is now 33-years-old. Despite being Croatian, he has spent a large portion of his career in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, and a loan spell away from Inter at Bayern Munich.
