Inter’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko will miss the important FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Finland with kick-off scheduled today at 15.00 CET, SempreInter.com has learned.

The former Roma striker has decided together with the medical staff of the Bosnian national team to not risk worsening his injury sustained in the Milan derby, by playing him against Finland, SempreInter.com can exclusively reveal.

Bosnian national team coach Ivaylo Petev feels that his team possesses the quality to beat Finland without his talismanic captain.

No final decision has been made regarding the following match against Ukraine, which would be decisive for who finishes second in the group should Finland be defeated.

However, SempreInter.com has learned that it is highly unlikely that Dzeko will recover in time to be able to feature in that match too.

But it is important to note that no final decision regarding the Ukraine match has been made and wont be made until closer to kick-off on Tuesday 16th of November at 20.45 CET.
