Ivan Perisic is considering a contract extension offer from Inter that would take him past next summer at the club, but that he is also aware of interest from other clubs.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 32-year-old has not declined the Nerazzurri’s offer on a renewal but that he is also considering a move away to a number of other clubs including Roma and teams in Germany and England.

Perisic’s performances have been strong this season and the club have decided to offer him an extension past the end of June 2022 when his present deal expires.

The Nerazzurri have offered the Croat a deal that will take him to the end of June 2024, and would see him earn a net of €3 million plus add-ons per season.

This is a reduction from the €4.6 million net plus add-ons that he currently earns annually, and the player could look elsewhere to receive a larger offer.

Roma are one of the clubs with the strongest interest in Perisic’s signature, with Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho thought to be an admirer.

However, clubs in the Bundesliga and the Premier League are also thought to be considering a move for him, and he would have no shortage of suitors should he decide not to renew with the Nerazzurri.
