Alexis Sanchez’s injury whilst playing for Chile means that Inter’s casualty list from the international break has gotten even bigger, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Chilean attacker came off in the 36th minute of La Roja’s match against Ecuador with discomfort in his right thigh.

The extent of the injury is not clear but it seems he will have at least a short spell on the sidelines. Some suggestions say that he could be out for around a month with the new injury.

Lautaro Martinez also picked up an injury whilst with Argentina although it is not considered serious, whilst Alessandro Bastoni and Edin Dzeko remain not at 100% with injuries sustained before the international break.

Stefan de Vrij will also be absent from the match against Napoli after picking up an injury, he will be replaced by Andrea Ranocchia.
