Inter Could Sell Alexis Sanchez In January After Repeated Injuries, Italian Media Report

Inter could decide to sell Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window after he picked up yet another injury, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the latest injury to the Chilean has forced Inter to consider cutting their losses on the striker and sell him.
Alexis Sanchez picked up a thigh injury during Chile’s 2-0 defeat against Ecuador and will now be absent for at least two weeks at a key stage in the campaign.
Given he earns €7 million per season, Alexis Sanchez is the highest paid player in the Nerazzurri squad. The club are unwilling to continue seeing their highest paid player get injured multiple times per season.
The difficulty for the player and for Simone Inzaghi is that he had just started to find a clear role within the team and begun contributing effectively with goals.
