Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has expressed his desire to remain at Inter in the future amid contract discussions, according to a report on social media.
As has been tweeted by Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin, he sent a message to the player on Instagram stating that he would like to ask him a question about his future that must be answered honestly.
Part of the message said: “I’m going to ask a question and I’d like you to reply without asking the permission of anybody. My simple question is, do you want to stay at Inter?”.
Marcelo Brozovic decided to reply to this message and he very simply said: “Si”, whilst adding a smiling face to his answer.
This exchange confirms that the player does want to sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri and helps to renew hopes that a deal will be reached between the player and the club.
A recent meeting was much more positive for all parties and Inter wishes to have the deal finalised in the next two weeks.
Marcelo Brozovic’s contract will expire in June 2022.
