Inter are preparing to offer a new contract to Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar just like the one recently signed by Nicolo Barella, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Calciomercato.com, Marcelo Brozovic is not the only player that Inter is currently trying to tie down to a longer term contract.

After the successful renewals of Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella, the club now want the same situation with Milan Skriniar who has become a key part of the side over the past two seasons.

His current deal will run out in June 2023 so there is not an immediate rush like there is with Marcelo Brozovic.

The reported plan is to offer him a deal like that of Sardinian midfielder Nicolo Barella who now earns €4.5 million per season and will be at the club until at least 2026.

There is no suggestion that Milan Skriniar wants to leave Inter.
