A number of big European football clubs are ready to try and sign Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic on a free transfer in the summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Croatian midfielder has a number of potential suitors across Europe should he fail to reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri for a new contract in the coming weeks.

The club that has been most consistently linked with a move for Marcelo Brozovic is Paris Saint Germain, as they lack a defensive midfielder of his quality.

Three Premier League sides are also in the running. They are the newly-rich Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur who are now coached by Antonio Conte, and Manchester United.

There is also interest from Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga as well as Atletico Madrid in La Liga. All of the teams are likely to be able to offer higher wages than Inter.
