Inter boss Simone Inzaghi still needs to decide who will replace Stefan de Vrij at the centre of Inter’s defence when Napoli visit on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInter1908, the immediate replacement for the Dutch defender is still not clear as there is a couple of options open to Simone Inzaghi.

The most clear option is to put Andrea Ranocchia into the middle of the three defenders but there is the added complication of Alessandro Bastoni recovering from the injury he picked up with Italy.

If he is fully fit, the coach could choose to play him in the centre with Milan Skriniar on the right as normal, and then let Federico Dimarco play on the left of the three.

There is also a decision to make in attack as Edin Dzeko is not necessarily fit to start the game.
