Simone Inzaghi needs to decide which of Inter’s upcoming matches he wants to prioritise in relation to Edin Dzeko’s fitness, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Edin Dzeko is still an injury risk after the muscle problem that he picked up whilst playing against AC Milan a couple of weeks ago.

That injury meant he missed both of Bosnia’s matches during the international break but he is now back in contention to start Sunday’s clash against Napoli in Serie A.

Simone Inzaghi still might decide that he wants to keep the striker on the bench so that he has more freshness for the Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk that is coming up next week.

That game holds a major significance for Inter’s season as if they win, they will qualify for the latter stages of the Champions League.
