Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been pleased to see Denzel Dumfries performing well for his national team over the past two weeks, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Denzel Dumfries was in fine and energetic form for The Netherlands as they booked their place in the 2022 Qatar World Cup thanks to a 2-0 win over Norway.
The wing back has had a mixed bag of performances since he moved to Inter in the summer from PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.
He has taken time to settle into the squad and his life in Italy and he also did not get anything resembling a normal pre-season.
Simone Inzaghi and Inter still feel confident though that he will start to add a serious attacking presence to the right hand side of the pitch as he begins to gain more confidence in the team.
