Inter are considering revisiting a move for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez in January, but their transfer activity may depend on whether Matias Vecino leaves.

According to Tuttomercartoweb.com, Nerazzurri directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio remain interested in Uruguay international Nandez after pushing for a deal for him in the summer, and are considering the possibility of bringing him in.

However, with Nandez’s compatriot Vecino complaining of a lack of first team opportunities, Inter must first resolve his future and may seek to cash in on him in order to fund a move for Nandez.

Marotta and Ausilio are also keeping a close watch on players who are out of contract at the end of the season, including Borussia Monchengladbach pair Denis Zakaria and Matthias Ginter.

Swiss international midfielder Zakaria and Germany centre-back Ginter both appear destined to leave Gladbach next summer and Inter could join the fight to sign them, most likely on a free transfer next summer.
