Inter-linked Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic changed agents as he looks to push through a move to Serie A next season.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serbia international left Fali Ramadani and signed up with Alessandro Lucci after the former had promised him a move to Lazio that failed to materialise.

Indeed, it is reported that Kostic was advised to refuse to attend Frankfurt training in the summer to hasten the move, but was faced with disciplinary action and a refusal by the club to give in and as a result were ready to reject any offer from Lazio.

The Bundesliga outfit demanded that the player change agent and he has done so, but will not sign an extension on a contract that is due to expire in 2023 as he seeks a dream move to Serie A.

Lazio remain in contention whilst Inter have also made a proposal, although it is thought that Roma have turned their attention elsewhere and are focused on other targets.

Inter are hoping to land Kostic for a reduced price next summer when he approaches the final year of his contract and any move in January is complicated by Frankfurt’s high asking price. The German club are thought to be holding out for €15 million to offload him mid-season and a switch away is unlikely.
