Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is set to call upon veteran defender Andrea Ranocchia for tomorrow’s Serie A match against leaders Napoli, following Stefan De Vrij’s injury.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Ranocchia is in line to make his first start and only his second appearance of the season after De Vrij was ruled, with the Dutchman picking up an injury on international duty last weekend.

However, fellow defender Alessandro Bastoni has recovered from his own knock and is expected to join Ranocchia and Milan Skriniar at centre-back.

Elsewhere, Matteo Darmian is likely to be named at right wing-back ahead of Denzel Dumfries, with Ivan Perisic occupying the opposite flank, whilst Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu will play either side of Marcelo Brozovic in the middle.

It is thought that Edin Dzeko has not sufficiently recovered in time to start in attack and so Lautaro Martinez will be partnered by Joaquin Correa.
