Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic is not likely to agree on a contract extension at the Nerazzurri despite the club’s attempts to keep him on past next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Croat does not look to be interested in committing his future to the Nerazzurri beyond next summer and will likely leave at the end of the season.

Perisic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, but the 32-year-old remains an important player at the Giuseppe Meazza, and so the club are aiming to secure his future beyond this date.

The player is aware of the club’s offer, but is not interested in a renewal amid offers from teams in the Bundesliga and in the Premier League who he could sign for when his contract with the Nerazzurri runs out, and this looks to be the likeliest possibility.
