Inter forward Joaquin Correa has been deemed to be fit to appear against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Argentine did not pick up a serious injury in yesterday evening’s 3-2 win over Napoli in Serie A and will be available for selection against the Ukrainians.

Correa had picked up a slight knock during the second half of yesterday’s match, having to come off just after helping to set up the Nerazzurri’s third goal with a run across much of the length of the pitch.

The 27-year-old had been a doubt for the massive head-to-head clash with Shakhtar this week due to the issue, but it has been confirmed that he does not have any serious issues.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij and Alexis Sanchez remain out with the problems that they picked up while on international duty, and the rest of the squad will be available for the Shakhtar clash.
