Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has emphasised the importance of Inter’s 3-2 victory over Napoli on Sunday evening at San Siro.

The Italian defender was involved from the start against the Azzurri who are now coached by ex-Inter boss Luciano Spalletti.

This is because he was taking the place of injured Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij who is facing a spell of around two weeks on the sidelines for a knock he picked up whilst on international duty.
