Inter are ready to offer Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic a three-year contract worth €2.5 million net per season to bring him to the club next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Serb has been identified as the preferred replacement for Ivan Perisic, and that the Nerazzurri have put forward an offer of €10 million to his club.

Kostic’s current deal with Eintracht is set to run out at the end of June 2023, and the Bundesliga club could be ready to part ways with him for around €10 million next summer to ensure that they do not lose him on a free transfer at the end of his contract.

The 29-year-old is the Nerazzurri’s priority target as they look to replace Ivan Perisic on the left side should the Croat not renew his contract which runs out next summer.

The Serb had been a major target for Lazio during the summer as well, before talks between the clubs fell through and the Biancocelesti moved onto other targets.

The Nerazzurri are also considering Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini as a possible target to replace Perisic, but the 25-year-old would cost considerably more than Kostic.
