Inter have scheduled another meeting with the entourage of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic for next week to try and make progress in talks to extend the Croat’s contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are prepared to go all-in to try and find an agreement with the 29-year-old and are moving forward with another round of talks.

The club held their first formal meeting with Brozovic’s father and family lawyer last week, aiming to firmly establish the dialogue around finding a renewal beyond next summer.

The midfielder’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2022, and given his status as a key player at the club the Nerazzurri have made finding an extension a major priority.

Towards this end, the club are wasting no time in scheduling another meeting for sometime next week, in the hopes that they can secure his future in due time amid interest from a number of top European clubs.
