Inter’s 3-2 win over Napoli on Sunday was only the latest display in a positive season from Inter from an attacking perspective.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the Nerazzurri are top of Serie A in most attacking statistics for the season so far.

The Nerazzurri’s 32 goals scored in the first thirteen matches of the campaign is the most of any team in the division, while they have taken the most shots on target of any team in the division with 67, and their 194 shots in total leaves them behind only Roma and Atalanta.

22 assists and 187 crosses also see that the Nerazzurri lead the way in these categories across the Italian top flight, yet further examples of the extent to which Simone Inzaghi has fashioned the team into a dominant attacking force.

The result and performance against Napoli over the weekend were encouraging to watch, and these statistics suggest that they are well backed-up.
