Inter could get a boost as they look to pick up maximum points over the next month by the fact that their schedule looks considerably easy on paper than what they have faced up to this point in the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who highlight the fact that the only team among the traditional top seven who the Nerazzurri have left to face before Christmas are Roma.

Inter got their head-to-head with league leaders Napoli out of the way over the weekend, getting a massive win over the Partenopei, having also drawn against Milan in the derby before the international break.

Prior to that, the likes of Juventus, Atalanta, and Lazio were also among the Nerazzurri’s opponents in Serie A, as were high-flyers such as Hellas Verona and Fiorentina.

In the remaining six matches of the calendar year, the Nerazzurri will come up against four of the teams in the division’s relegation scrap in the form of Salernitana, Spezia, Venezia, and Cagliari.

The difficulty of these fixtures should not be underestimated, and the matches against the likes of Roma and Torino promise to be significant challenges, but the Nerazzurri can look ahead to them compared to their previous fixtures and feel that they have the opportunity to continue their positive run in Serie A.
