Inter President Steven Zhang has still not been able to leave China due to the heavy restrictions on travel to and from the country due to the COVID-19 health regulations.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri President will have to wait a little while longer at least to come to Italy.

The President had also hoped to fly to Dubai, where the Nerazzurri are the only Italian club represented at the Dubai Expo thanks to being Scudetto winner.

Additionally, Zhang has been unable to see his team play in person, and will miss out on yet another vital match in the form of this evening’s Champions League group stage clash with Shakhtar Donetsk at the San Siro.

The President is aiming to take a trip away from China sometime in the near future to attend to business matters related to the club and watch them play, but for now he is restricted to working remotely.
