Former Inter goalkeeper Walter Zenga has suggested that Ivan Perisic may have changed after the year he spent on loan at Bayern Munich, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking to FCInter1908 from Dubai, Walter Zenga said that he would like to ask Ivan Perisic if the year in Germany made him a more mature player.

“His performance has changed since he returned from Bayern. I wanted to ask him if that year had made him mature even more.”

The Croatian winger has been an Inter player since 2015 but Antonio Conte decided to loan him to Bayern Munich for his first season in charge of the club.

Whilst not being a key player Ivan Perisic was an important part of the Bayern Munich set up and he played 22 times for them and helped them win the Champions League.

There was also comment passed on Andrea Ranocchia who has stood info the injured Stefan de Vrij for the last two matches. Walter Zenga fears he may struggle to perform to a high level for a third match in such a short space of time.

“The third game is the most complicated one. You play a big match on Sunday, then the Champions League. Maintain high levels of concentration consistently. The match on Saturday could weigh on him, I hope not.”
