The former owner of AS Roma James Pallotta has been linked with the purchase of Inter from Suning in the future, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the American businessman who until recently was the owner of the Giallorossi is believed to be keen in taking the club out of the Suning family’s control.

The Chinese ownership of Inter has been repeatedly linked with a sale of the club because they are in serious financial issues in China and the footballing economic landscape has been damaged by the coronavirus.

Despite this, they have vehemently denied that they are looking to sell the club and therefore it would take a public u-turn for them to now sell to James Pallotta.

One of the reasons James Pallotta sold AS Roma is that he was unable to build the club it’s own stadium, which Inter may have soon.
