Former Inter defender and current sporting director of Venezia Ivan Cordoba has said that Inter will encounter an unpredictable team when they face the Venetians on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking whilst on Sky Sport 24, via FCInternews, Ivan Cordoba explained that he thinks it will be special facing Inter now that he is the sporting director of Venezia.
“I wonder too. I think it will be special, a particular emotion. I will keep it in my heart however it goes.”
In terms of his prediction for the match, the Colombian feels that Inter will come up against a team that does not stop playing and working until the final whistle and will have to be well prepared.
“I don’t know. Inter know they will find an unpredictable team that won’t give up on playing. They will have to prepare well for the match.”
Venezia were unexpectedly promoted to Serie A this season after a wonderful Serie B campaign in 2020/21. They have had a decent set of results so far and risen to 14th in the table.
