Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi has revealed that Suning’s fortunes in China could change for the better very soon with a political move, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking whilst on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, Marco Barazghi who is a Sport Mediaset journalist explained that a member of the Zhang family could be set to become the Minister of Economy in the Chinese government.
This would give the family a significant chance of lowering their financial issues within the Asian country as Zhang Jindong may have the ability to sanction more overseas investment than is currently allowed by Xi Jinping, Chinese leader.
“Attention, because there could be important news from China, where it is said that Zhang Jindong is in the running for the post of Minister of Economy.
“This could change everything and give more power to the Zhang family certainly in China. Then, it will be necessary to understand if indeed, as it appears, Xi Jinping will ease its hold on overseas investment.”
Suning are a major business in China but they are having serious financial struggles that have impacted the Nerazzurri. This is partly what led to the necessary sales of Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku during the summer and the reduction of the wage budget.
