Inter’s Turkish international midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu was pleased after the first 45 minutes in the Serie A clash against Venezia FC at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo.

The former AC Milan midfielder stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia and underlined how important the game is as well for the Nerazzurri to score more goals to close the game off.

“This is an important game. We know that playing here, in this tiny stadium isn’t easy. We scored the first goal but we also have to the second and the third to close the game off.

“We have to also pay attention because they always look to hit us on the counterattack. If we score the second goal we will close the game.”

Inter lead the match by 1-0 thanks to a goal by the Turk who scored for the third consecutive Serie A match for the first time in his career.
