Hakan Calhanoglu was the standout performer for Inter in yesterday’s Serie A win over Venezia, while Joaquin Correa was the weakest on the pitch, according to Italian media.

The Turkish midfielder received a solid 7/10 grade in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Le Repubblica who singled him out as the man of the match, while the Argentine forward only received a score of 5.5/10.

Calhanoglu continued his recent run of good form in an Inter shirt, scoring the vital first-half opener and looking to be the main man for everything positive that his team did in the match.

Correa, by contrast, did not manage to have much of a positive impact on the game leading the line alongside Edin Dzeko, before he was substituted off for his compatriot Lautaro Martinez in the second half.

Meanwhile, head coach Simone Inzaghi was also commended with a strong 7/10 score for how he set his team up given the controlled nature of their performance as a unit.
