Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal had his house broken into while he was with the team for the derby draw with AC Milan earlier this month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that thieves took the opportunity to ransack the midfielder’s villa and even stole an off-road vehicle from the premises.

Vidal was with the rest of the Nerazzurri squad for the derby at the San Siro during the evening of the 7th, where he came on as a substitute during the second half of the draw against the Rossoneri.

Sometime shortly after the match kicked off at 8:45 CET, the thieves came onto the property of Vidal’s villa, broke windows to get into the house, and took gold and jewels of significant value owned by the Chilean.

Also on the property were a number of vehicles including a Ferrari 448 Spider which the thieves also tried to steal but were unable to.

However, a Mercedes off-road vehicle worth €400,000 was also taken by the thieves.
