Inter are set for another round of talks with the representatives of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in the next week or two as they look to move forward and try to extend his contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will hold the next meeting towards renewing with the Croat this week or next.

The Nerazzurri held the first meeting with Brozovic’s father and the family lawyer who represents him a couple weeks ago, and signs have been positive.

The will of the player is thought to be to remain with his current club, and the Nerazzurri are looking to move forward with the talks soon, with progress possible in the next week or two.

Given that Brozovic’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2022, renewing with the midfielder is a major priority for the club.
