Serie A referee Davide Ghersini has been appointed to take charge of Inter’s match against Spezia on Wednesday.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri’s official site, where a complete list of officials for the Serie A clash is announced.

Ghersini will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Daniele Marchi and Giuseppe Macaddino, while the role of the fourth official for the fixture will be filled by Daniele Paterna.

In the VAR booth, Paolo Mazzolini will look to ensure that any major errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected, while his assistant will be Luca Mondin.

The Nerazzurri will hope that the focus for the clash is on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversies as they go in search of their third consecutive victory in the league.

Last time around, Livio Marinelli produced a solid display in the Nerazzurri’s clash with Venezia, which the team will be hoping Ghersini is able to follow up in similar fashion.
