Ex-Nerazzurri Defender Daniele Adani: “There Are No Defects In How This Inter Plays”

Former Inter defender Daniele Adani believes that the Nerazzurri are currently playing a stylistically complete brand of football.
Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, the former defender praised the Nerazzurri for having no real holes in their game during their recent period of strong form.
Finding the balance between attack and defense always looked to be the challenge for the Nerazzurri at earlier points during the season.
Simone Inzaghi’s team looked undeniably formidable in attack but also conceded too many chances, while they often looked too passive in how they defended when they had to close out matches.
In big recent wins in Serie A and the Champions League, however, Inzaghi’s men have altered how they play and now look to defend, transition, and attack in a single action.
Adani has noticed how effective this new shape and organization has become on both sides of the ball.
“There are not defects to how this Inter plays,” he said, “the squad rotations that Inzaghi makes are always right. They remain solid but do not defend passively.”
“This week Inter have completed their growth,” he went on. “They have confirmed that they can fight for the Scudetto.”
“And in the Champions League they are the team who have taken the most shots, even ahead of Manchester City for example,” Adani explained.
“The centrality of Brozovic must be emphasized,” he added. “and Perisic makes the difference. And Calhanoglu has shown that he is at the level of the starting midfielders in the last month, from Inter-Juve onwards
