Key Inter men Nicolo Barella and Edin Dzeko could be given a rest during this evening’s Serie A clash with Spezia.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who predict that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is set to leave the pair out of the starting eleven for the match.

Barella has started each of the Nerazzurri’s past three matches since the return from the international break, while Dzeko has started the past two after coming off the bench in the second half against Napoli.

Inzaghi will be mindful of not exhausting important squad members during this busy period in the fixture schedule, and Barella and Dzeko are the likeliest players to make way from the starting eleven.

In their place, the Gazzetta predicts that Arturo Vidal will come in for Barella in midfield, while Joaquin Correa is expected to partner fellow Argentine Lautaro Martinez in attack, reprising the attack that started the win over Napoli.
