Former Atalanta, Lecce, and Torino striker Simone Tiribocchi believes that Inter have what it takes to go all the way in the Scudetto race.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Marte, the 43-year-old gave the view that the Nerazzurri’s ability to come back into the title race always looked likely given their quality.

Inter have enjoyed strong form in the past few weeks, getting themselves back into serious contention at the top of the Serie A table after having been seven points behind Napoli and AC Milan for a while.

There is still much work to be done if Simone Inzaghi’s team wish to get the Scudetto wrapped up, with almost two thirds of the season still to be played.

However, Tiribocchi is of the view that the Nerazzurri have the quality needed to keep up in the title race and to make their presence felt at the top of the table.

“I expected that Inter would be able to make a convincing comeback in the title race,” he said. “They have great players in all aspects. They will give the others a hard time until the end.”
