If Inter get on the scoresheet against Spezia in this evening’s Serie A clash at the San Siro, it will be the 34th consecutive match in which they have found the back of the net.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who highlight the impressive goalscoring run that Inter have been on this season and for much of the last campaign as well.

Inter have managed to score at least one goal in every Serie A match they’ve played this season, and have done so for 33 games in a row in the Italian top flight stretching back into last season when they won the Scudetto under Antonio Conte.

The last time Inter failed to score in Serie A was their goalless draw with Udinese on January 23, while the last time they failed to do so at home came late in the 2019-20 season when they played out a goalless draw with Fiorentina on July 22, 2020.

Simone Inzaghi’s team are averaging 2.42 goals per match this season in Serie A, and there is every reason to think that they will be able to keep their scoring run alive against Spezia.
