Inter are seeking to win their third Serie A game in a row against Spezia this evening, which would be the first time they have managed the feat this season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who also note that Lautaro Martinez is looking to find the back of the net for the third match in a row.

The Nerazzurri have regularly managed to win two matches consecutively in Serie A this campaign, but on each occasion they dropped points at the opportunity to win a third in succession.

Draws against the likes of Sampdoria, Atalanta, and AC Milan have snapped short winning runs for Simone Inzaghi’s men, but with important wins against Napoli and Venezia behind them the Nerazzurri will hope that they can finally get three on the spin this evening.

Against the likes of La Dei and the Rossoneri, Inter faced top-level opposition and the draws were not the worst results despite breaking their winning runs, but against Spezia they face a team they will expect to beat.
