Inter are not interested in bringing in Torino captain Andrea Belotti during the January transfer window, but could resume their pursuit of him next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the hamstring injury that the 27-year-old suffered in the Granata’s defeat to Roma over the weekend has ruled him out as a January target for the Nerazzurri as well as for AC Milan.

Belotti went down clutching his hamstring during the second half of the match against the Giallorossi, with tests revealing that he had picked up a hamstring injury.

TuttoMercatoWeb report that the striker will not be back until at least February, and this will almost certainly end any interest that the Nerazzurri have in his signature during the January window.

Inter had reportedly been in talks with Belotti during the previous summer transfer window before they moved on to other targets, however, and would still be interested in signing him next summer when he is out of contract.
