Inter captain Samir Handanovic was named as the tenth best goalkeeper in world football during the 2021 calendar year in Monday’s Ballon D’Or ceremony.

The 37-year-old finished tenth in the standings for the Lev Yashin trophy at the ceremony, awarded to recognize the top keepers in the world.

The Nerazzurri recognized Handanovic’s outstanding accomplishment on their official Twitter account, where they also pointed out that the Slovenian has made over four hundred appearances in an Inter shirt.
